Religious Education

Weekly Religious Education lessons take place at Chester Park Federation.  These lessons are based on Discovery RE which links with the PSHE we teach through the Jigsaw programme. 

Daily Collective Worship takes place in both settings and all collective worship is planned termly so that major festivals from different religions are shared as part of collective worship.  As part of RE in school we ensure that children visit at local places of worship such as the Mosque on Abingdon Road or St John’s Church. 

Through our links with history we reference historical people of faith who have impacted on our community.  The schools have visits from Rev Jordan, our local vicar and Nigib Kanh, our local Imam
