Who are we and what do we do?
We are the Parents, Relatives, Friends and Staff of Chester Park Infant School. Our aim is to run fun, inexpensive family events for the children and friends of the school, whilst raising money for the school, along the way. Oh, and did we mention, we like to have fun.
As a parent, family member or carer of a child at Chester Park Infant School, you automatically become a member of the Friends and you are welcome at all events and meetings. All staff are automatically Friends too.
We have a lovely committee who are responsible for organising and running events. We usually meet about once every half term, for about an hour or so.
Remember, that wherever you stand in the playground, you are surrounded by Friends!
How can you help?
We rely entirely on volunteers for everything we do. Therefore, we need you to come and give us your help and support.
We are always on the look-out for new ideas and suggestions, so we would really love it if you would come and join us at our meetings. We usually meet over a hot drink and, if we are lucky, some biscuits, to discuss upcoming events and new ideas.
However if that’s not your thing, you could always volunteer to help at one, some or all of our events. Alternatively, we would really love you to come and support the events we run.
Whichever way you can help, it will be very much appreciated!
How can you contact us?
Please email us at email@example.com. Alternatively, please leave your name and contact details with the school office and a member of the Friends will contact you, or come and speak to one of us in the playground.
