World Book Day

On Thursday we celebrated World Book Day.  It was great fun to see the children and staff dressed as their favourite book characters.  The staff stayed in character as they led the children through activities to promote a love of books and reading.  It was lovely to see the Year 5 children come into school to read books with the children too. Everyone really enjoyed it!

We would like to say a big thank you to the volunteer parents that came into school to read stories to the children in other languages.  It was greatly appreciated.

We would also like to say thank you to Morrison's in Fishponds for kindly donating books to the school as part of their World Book Day scheme.
