Remembrance Day 2018
The children at Chester Park Infant school came together to commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War. We all took time to think about the people who help us and keep us safe.
Every child in the school painted their own poppy on a pebble which then combined together to make one large poppy sculpture. Once varnished the finished poppy will be included as part of the new playground so that the centenary will be remembered in the future.
During Term 1 the whole school enjoyed a visit to Westonbirt Arboretum. The children explored the Arboretum looking at the trees, leafs, surroundings and also took part in an educational session!
